Though Michael did his usual job of embarrassing himself, the audience couldn't help but pity him because of his lack of companions. Michael has struggled for five seasons to find some friends or companions and truly hasn't had any luck. Office watchers have begun to feel sorry for Michael because his sad life has become more real because of the latest mishaps at the office.
