Why it's important to learn.

My mindset in high school was to get the grades that I needed to get scholarships so I could go to college. Although college is an awesome goal to have as a high school student, it is also important to remember that you are there to learn. I lost sight of that because of my constant infatuation with college and all of it's greatness. There were so many important things that I should have learned in high school that I didn't, and now I am regretting the wasted time. Yes, I did get the grades to get into college, but what good are the grades when you don't retain the knowledge. It's important to realize that we are in school to learn, first and foremost, which will help us to get the scholarships and get the jobs and make the money. Remember, first things first; learn the stuff during the years your supposed to learn.
