The Office: Season 6, Week 1

There aren't very many people who have not watched an episode of NBC's The Office. From its witty humor to its off the wall characters; it has captured the attention of the majority of American TV watchers. This weeks episode featured a brilliant display of Michael Scott's (Steve Carell) need to fit in with his employees. For the majority of the episode, Michael spent his time trying to be a part of the office gossip (whether it was passing it on, or being the subject of the gossip). Michael Scott portrayed an amplification of most peoples' desire to fit in. The episode was packed with comedy and yet it had an underlying feeling of shame because of Stanley's involvement in an affair. Once again The Office combined real life problems with quirky paper company employees and made a hilarious half hour show.
